Main Objective : 1) To design a comfortable, reliable, and movable healthy chair. 2) To be able to exploit the techonology in relating it with the chair design.

Target User : Adult Male. Age 25-60.

Target Market : Local Urban Market.

The main objective of the proposed design is to design a comfortable, reliable and removable multi-task couch for people who spend 1/4 of their day watching television. The design is best applied with considering the principles and elements of design. The second objective is to be able to use /exploit technologies in relating the design of the couch of the couch (relating the couch and the technology in order to produce a multi-purpose task product). Since Star Trek and a lot other television shows and movies in the 20th century give a large impact on the future's technology of science and animation also making the imagination come true, a lot of technology has been discovered and invented like the internet, the submarine,etc. So the last objective is to study and appreciate cartoons like The Jetson Family.

Men are most likely to sit in front of the television state the study done by World Monitor Quarter 2, because they are addicted to sports. Men and women prefer to watch different sports on tv. Soccer is dominated by men while women mostly watch figure sports like figure skating. So, on Sunday and Monday nights, are days full with football matches and highlights, follows by American Football, and Formula 1 race; a huge possibility men will not get their eyes off the television. Despite watching the game on a two seated sofa, most of the men preferred to watch tv with resting their knees on knee length table, ottoman or foot stools. The main target user is adult male, age 20 - 60. The market will be focused on local urban market.

There are four guidelines that considerably vital in the design, multitasking, adjustability, comfartability, and eco friendly. So in order to create such environment as a couch that applies and offer multi-task applications, we must think beyond possibility or anti-human. Like the Magna Chair, the home theater recliners that offers full range of surround-sound vibrations that are felt, not heard, through your entire body. The MAgna Chair is a good example because it gives us a good impression on ordinary recliners. The Panasonic 1022 Shiatsu Massage Lounger is a lounger that has a massager and it offers a separate ottoman and back recline mechanism controls which also can be a good example for the couch in term of relaxation. Relaxation can also determined by adjusting the couch or even move the couch to the desired angle. Storage is important as it determines how big the couch is, that can also store junk foods and light drinks in it. Maybe a cooler can be placed under the couch like the Hampshire Double Chair that has an easy storage ottoman.

Reclining seat - if you recline a seat, or if its reclines, the back of the seat is lowered, so that you can lean back in it.
Chair - a piece of furniture for one person to sit on, which has a back, a seat and four legs.
Chaise Lounge - a long chair with an arm only at one end, on which you can sit and stretch your legs out.
Comfort (noun) - the capacity to give physical ease and well being; Middle English - comforted , from ad French comforter, to strengthen. A feeling pf being physically relaxed and satisfied, so that nothing is hurting you.
